This indoor and outdoor workshop will invite participants to consider the benefits of working with children outdoors. Using a gentle framework that allows space for the beginner practitioner to start a nature teaching practice, but also challenges those who have been working in this way for years, practical routines, activities and progressions will be offered.

Nature is everywhere from a local park to the sidewalk crack, but opening our eyes to the possibilities that about for our curriculum development is key to allowing children the time to explore and investigate their natural world. Integration to Creative Curriculum, High Scope, Reggio Emilia Approach and ACCESS will be discussed.
